St.Matthias is an Anglican church that has experienced renewal and refreshing in the Holy Spirit for the last 30 years. Over the last few years we have been encountering God’s Fatherly love amongst us in some wonderful ways. God has been drawing us to seek Him and enjoy Him and make this the most important thing we do. We are not there yet but the journey is exhilarating! We often use the word-picture that Jesus gave us for this quest; ‘let everyone who is thirsty come to me and drink’. We are pursuing God’s presence like thirsty people looking for water.
This revelation of God’s love is deepening our understanding of the importance of relationship. He - is pursuing us! He is looking for sons and daughters who will love Him and live like His family today. Welcome is important to us - we hope you feel welcome. Belonging is important to us - we hope you find a home here. Sharing this love with each other and giving it away is important to us, we hope you’ll join us as we do this.
There is more God than you can possibly manage, so drink deeply and keep coming back for more.
