Community

Burley St Matthias Church is closely linked to Burley St Matthias C of E Primary School, situated 200 yards along Burley Road.

We have run a Toddler Group for pre-school children on Wednesday mornings since 1981. In September 2004 we are launching the Burley Family Resource Network with Revive Church and Word of Life.

We also run Burley 2000 Plus lunch club with Burley Park Medical Centre on Fridays.

A Christians Against Poverty Centre was opened in May 2003 and is going strength to strength in 2008, Praise God! The office is based at St Matthias Church Centre (0113 230 4408 or http://www.capuk.org). CAP's mission is to help people get out of debt through practical advice, education and counselling.
